World Food Supply is a leader in the edible dry foods industry and meets the needs of families by supplying whole grains, legumes, dairy products, and other other edible food products. It's plant is located in Loa Angeles CA. It was founded in 1978 to facilitate formulation and production of nutritional food products. It is a family run business with its founder now 70 years young still actively involved in the business, although he is supposedly retired.

With integrated research and product development facilities, World Food Supply has been able to develop several unique proprietary products for the hotel,restaraunt,institutional and international markets it serves.

Our state of the art canning facilities allow us to package foods for other leading survival and dehydrated food companies under their own labels.

World Food Supply also trades in bulk ingredients through its ingredients division. This includes freeze-dried and dehydrated foods, herbs and other natural ingredients. Storehouse has the capabilities to package all of of its ingredients as well, either in cans, sachets or cartons.

FACILITIES:

World Food Supply is located in Los Angeles, CA. The building we occupy is approximately 20,000 sq. ft. of self-contained operating space. The facilities that house our state-of the-art-canning factory include processing, product research, packaging, shipping and office areas.

World Food Supply has a liason office in Calgary,AB Canada which also deals in international sales, marketing and business development.

QUALITY ASSURANCE:

Quality of ingredients should be of major concern to anyone purchasing a meaningful food supply. By canning our own food and having the buying power to take advantage of supplies we deal only with the certified best suppliers of grains and food products. This insures freshness, quality and delivery.

Many packages offered by our competitors are not strategically formulated to provide the calories, protein or nutrition required maintaining optimum human health. Each Safetrek label describes the nutritional value of each product.

Our company operates its factory based on what we call "quality focused canning." Cans are double enameled to ensure integrity and endurance. Each can is visually inspected and packed by professionals under intense quality control

World Food Supply foods have a shelf life of 10 to 12 years and even after the can is opened the re-sealable lids coupled with the oxygen absorber present in every can insures another 6 months of freshness. Delivery time is of the essence. Most food reserve companies are now faced with 6 to 8 month delivery schedules. The largest company in the industry, as stated on their web page, has delivery times of up to six months! Due to our large number of institutional type clients, we have been maintaining a delivery schedule of 30 days.

FDA and USDA STATUS:

World Food Supply is under the auspices and regulation of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and is regularly inspected. The facilities are kept in immaculate sanitary conditions. Current FDA rules and regulations are followed scrupulously. Being so clean and well-maintained, you can literally "eat off the floor". Since its inception in 1977, Whole Food Suplly has established an excellent rapport with this key agency.

Our Plant also enjoys certification as an approved USDA Facility (US Dept. of Agriculture).
